Avatar Robots are remote controlled robots that can be used by
mentally and physically disabled people to work. The robots wait
tables in restaurants and allow bed-ridden patients to interact
with the outside world while remaining safe and comfortable.
These robots can help with socializing kids with autism as real
people may be more intimidating to them.

However, there is some controversy surrounding these developments.
People are worried that with the advancement of intelligent and/or
long-distance controlled robots, people will not be needed in the
workplace. Human social interaction and working or doing which is
both impervious and essential to human health would plummet causing
a crash in not only humanity but skill and IQ.

These avatar robots have inspired AI and other technological advancements.
People argue that these technological surges are bringing life to extinction.
Art AI’s are growing, expanding, learning. Writers don’t have to think of
how to create stories anymore. Song writers have no need to pour their soul
into lyrics when AI can write something faster and objectively better.
Artists mustn’t spend hours toiling over canvases when an AI can create
photo-perfect images in a span of minutes.
But isn’t the unperfect touch of human-hand the reason it is called art?

Technological advancements should be used to aid people,
not replace them. To help the immobilized and introduce
the mentally challenged to the world. Avatar Robots have
a possibility to do that but not without restrictions.
